UCLA basketball players thank Donald Trump for intervening in China shoplifting incident

UCLA basketball players Cody Riley, LiAngelo Ball, and Jalen Hill apologized for their conduct in China and thanked President Donald Trump for “helping us out.” The three players were detained in China on suspicion of shoplifting.

  2. The attempted shoplifting by these stupid spoiled athletes will probably cost the Americas millions in the long run. Trump has now made a deal with China to get them free and there will be a price to pay. America now owes a favor to China and in the future China will call in that favor when one of their citizens tries to steal millions of dollars. It’s like getting a free get out of jail card. Ball’s father said it was nothing big, which shows how ignorant he is about the international implications.
